2. Website data
When you visit jiaa.codes, your browser may automatically provide technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and basic request logs through your hosting provider.
The site does not use a newsletter system and does not collect crash reports. If Google Analytics is enabled on the site, analytics cookies may be set automatically to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site.
3. App data and how JIAA works
JIAA transcribes audio locally on your Mac using Whisper. Interview audio is not uploaded by the app for transcription.
The app sends text prompts, transcribed text, and any materials you explicitly choose to attach, such as screenshots, PDFs, or code snippets, directly to Anthropic to generate responses. JIAA does not operate its own application server for that processing flow.
4. Payments and order data
Payments and subscription management are handled by Lemon Squeezy. When you purchase JIAA, Lemon Squeezy processes billing data such as your name, email address, payment details, order metadata, and tax-related information according to its own privacy practices.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable under GDPR, we process personal data to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the website, and respond to support or refund requests.
6. Data sharing
Personal data may be shared with service providers involved in operating the product and website, including hosting providers, Lemon Squeezy for billing, Anthropic for AI response generation when you use the app, and Google if analytics is enabled on the site.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account support, refunds, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to request portability where applicable. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
